Ms. M. Correa

Welcome to our First & Second
Grade Class with Mrs. Correa

This is my fifteenth wonderful year teaching for Mt. Pleasant School District. I have worked with kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade. I received my teaching credentials from San Jose State University where I also completed my Masters Degree in Education and received a Reading Specialist Certificate. I believe school should be a happy and safe environment for all children to be successful. I love to read and I want to instill a love for reading in all of my students.
I have enjoyed teaching first grade for the past 13 years. It is such a pleasure to see the student’s become readers and writers at that age.
This year I will be teaching a First & Second grade combination class. It will be a new and exciting experience for all of us.

I recently moved to beautiful Livermore to be closer to my family. I have four grown children and nine grandchildren who live in Tracy and Manteca. I have always enjoyed working with children. I ran a daycare business at home while my children were growing up and then, I became a pre-school teacher part-time during the years I attended college.

Please, feel free to drop by the classroom anytime. I would appreciate it if you can volunteer in the classroom or if you would like to take any work home.

Please, let me know if you have any questions or concerns, you may call the school and leave a message at (408) 258-6451 or email me at
